We can’t think of a better place to “hang” this summer than Coppersmith.  Complete with rooftop bar, patio, food trucks and fun and exciting events and specials, Coppersmith is THE place to be this summer in Southie!

As one of the newest rooftop bars in the city and the only in South Boston, Coppersmith’s Air Deck is a 3,000 sq ft coveted al fresco space outfitted with a vintage Airstream trailer-turned-full service bar, rustic chic picnic tables, flat screen TVs and stellar cityscape views.  Guests can sip cocktails by the glass or pitcher as well as snack on Chef Jason Heard’s daily whims which range from foot-long hot dogs to pulled pork and canned local brews.  Chef Heard’s rotating BBQ selections will be prepared on his 9-foot Lang Smoker that was delivered earlier this month from his home state of Georgia.

Groups of up to 20 people can reserve parking at a rooftop table by ordering one of Chef Heard’s Air Deck Picnics.  Served in a vintage Radio Flyer wagon, these picnic menus include the following offerings; Southie BBQ (chicken, pulled pork, brisket, $250.00) Fiesta (fried fish & pulled pork tacos, black bean corn salad with shells, $200.00) Urban Garden (grilled squash, zucchini, onions, tomatoes, marinated mozzarella, smoked olives, focaccia, $175) Catch of the Day (2 dozen baked oysters, 2 dozen stuffed clams, 2 lbs peel & eat shrimp, corn bread & lobster available as an add on (mkt price,) and Sliders (pulled pork, buffalo chicken, falafel, $195). Air Deck Picnics must be ordered 24 hours in advance by calling the restaurant directly and are based on first come first serve availability.
