In the ever-changing landscape of the Southie restaurant scene, looks like a new spot could be added to the list!  According to Marc Hurwitz of Boston Restaurant Talk, Backyard Betty’s could be going in at 172-174 West Broadway.  The proposed restaurant would have seating for a 137 with a bar area and take up about 5,165 square feet of space.  Marc also is reporting that Theo Bougas of Publico fame is involved in addition to The Family Restaurant Partners LLC made up of developers Dave Winick and Dave Matteo.

UPDATE: Looks like Thirst Boston may be selling its liquor license.
