Food fight! Bring your appetite to Lincoln Tavern (425 West Broadway) on Tuesday night for a food and drink lover’s special event – Food Fight 2 Neighborhoods Battling to End Hunger!  On Tuesday September 9th it’s the Harvard Square round with Russell House Tavern facing Harvest.  At tickets are $30 and includes a tasting from each chef, signature cocktails, intimate Q&A with chefs, pizza from the host, Lincoln Tavern and your vote to pick the winner!  Event runs from 7pm-9pm. Every ticket sold helps feed a kid up to 300 healthy meals.

Ay! Oh! Ay (in the voice of Paulie Walnuts)! Come celebrate Italian pride on Friday, September 12th from 6pm-8pm at Medal of Honor Park at M Street Park.  Enjoy live music performed by Street Magic Acapella.  There will be kids activities and the Mayor Marty Walsh and the City of Boston will be honoring some special someone from Southie too – to be announced later!  Even if you’re not Italian, you can still celebrate Italian Pride Night!

Festival of fun. The forecast for Saturday looks perfect to browse and shop amidst 100 local merchants, artists, and organizations along East Broadway from L to I streets.  There will be food, children’s activities and live entertainment including local favorite Thomas Park and the Wood’s School of Irish Dance.  September 13th 11pm-5pm. Big in search of little!
