Just add art! Fourth Presbyterian Church (340 Dorchester Street) is taking registrations for its fall session classes for the art and music program Soul Possibilities. Not only will this program include productions of the Aladdin and Urinetown, it will also feature music, art, science classes, magic classes, film making and more! To honor the South Boston Vietnam Memorial 34th anniversary and the 40th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, a special Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall will come to Medal of Honor Park at M Street from September 17th-September 20th. An opening ceremony will take place on September 17th at 4pm. You can view the wall on Friday and Saturday from 8am to 10pm. Thanks to Mother Nature, last weeks walk/bike/tour the Dot. Ave Corridor was rescheduled for Monday, September 14th. The BRA (Boston Redevelopment Authority) wants your input about The Dorchester Avenue corridor from Andrew Square to Broadway Station. What is currently a traditional industrial area will be transformed into residential and mix-use. The BRA would like to know the types of uses and the scale the development best suited for the future of this area. On Monday, September 14th take a walking tour or a bicycle tour of the area and be a part of the process. Both walking and bike tours will leave the parking lot at 195 Old Colony Ave at 5:30pm.
