Create art with Dan McCole.  Young at Arts painting classes begin on Monday, November 2nd for kids ages 7 to 12.  Led by renowned watercolorist Dan McCole, kids will be painting in acrylics every Monday from 4:30pm-5:30pm at St. Vincent’s Church Parish Meeting house on E Street.  This class is free and is co-sponsored by the Youth Ambassadors program and the South Boston Arts Association.  Painting materials will be supplied.

Teach your children well.  South Boston Catholic Academy – 866 East Broadway- is hosting an early childhood parent info night on Wednesday, November 4th at 6:30pm.  Come learn about The Lynch Foundation’s Early Childhood Project.  Experts from the project will share how it has supported the teachers in providing an environment that nurtures the social and emotional well-being of the students in order for effective learning to take place.  Stop by and learn.  Use the O Street entrance.
