Yoga instructors Jenna Hill and Kristin Khederian are hosting a yoga pop-up on Monday, May 11th at 6:15pm at M Street Park.   This hour long Vinyasa class promises to offer a dynamic, fun flow, that will energize! Sip and paint!  The Urban Art Bar is hosting a special fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis on Sunday, May 17th from 11am-2pm.  Come paint the Cape Lighthouse, sip on a Bloody Mary from the Bloody Mary bar, enjoy bagels donated by Boston Bagel Company and support a great cause – Team Cookie running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. Raise your glass to summer! Harpoon will be celebrating the soon to be arriving summer with a fun-filled festival featuring music, beer and food.  During the festival, take a brewery tour, keg bowl for charity, and enjoy a wide variety of Harpoon’s delicious brews! This year, the festival will feature 3 food trucks, The Bacon Truck, The Dining Car ,and Captain Marden’s Cod Squad Food Truck, PLUS food from Lucky’s Lounge, the Sausage guy, and Harpoon Brewery pretzels, and more!   The event takes place on Friday, May 15th 5:30pm-11pm and Saturday, May 16th  from 1pm-7pm.  Tickets are $20 and you must be 21 plus. You can purchase tickets at the door and it’s cash only.  We’ll be giving away tickets to the Friday night festival – so be watching on social media!  

It’s back!  After a crazy successful summer/winter 2014/2015, The Lawn on D will open for a new season and promises to be better than ever!  The opening weekend will begin on Friday, May 15th at 5pm with a warm welcome from Jim Rooney and kick off a night of dancing featuring the classic D Street Jukebox.  Guests will also enjoy a dance party celebrating the return of Swing Time with dancing lessons from MetaMovements and Hop to the Beat.

Bonus:
Peace will be restored in Southie.  Come May 13th, the temporary one-ways will go back to normal!  Mayor Marty Walsh announced today the South Boston Emergency Transportation Reconfiguration (ETR), which took effect February 14 and extended into mid-spring, will end on May 13. The Boston Transportation Department will begin removing one-way directional signage on Monday, May 11th, and the two-way traffic operation will take full-effect on Wednesday, May 13th.  So there you have it! 

Make sure your pet is legit. Massachusetts law requires that owners of cats and dogs vaccinate their pets for rabies. A special clinic will be held on Saturday, May 16th at the Condon School  – 200 D Street from 10am to 2pm for cats and dogs.  $5 for residents.  $10 for non-residents.
