Remember the the robot maid from the Jetson’ – Rosie?  Well, Foodie’s is joining forces with a new app named after Rosie to help make your grocery shopping experience more delightful!  All you need to do is download the Rosie app, place your order online then then swing by for a quick pick up!  It will help you save time out of your busy schedule!  Delivery service is in the works so stay tuned!

Bienvenue, Bastille Kitchen! In the ever-changing landscape of new restaurants in South Boston, the neighborhood of Fort Point is evolving at a fast and furious pace!  Bastille Kitchen – a new french restaurant – will open its doors on Monday, July 28th at 49 Melcher Street.  The $4 million newly renovated textile factory will house a 300 seat restaurant with a menu that includes traditional items such as steak tartar, escargot and bouillabaisse to fresh local seafood and beef short rib wellington.  Bastille Kitchen will be open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays until midnight The upstairs bar and the downstairs “Chalet Bar” will be open from 4:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. daily.  For more information visit www.bastillekitchen.net
