Bar(re) Hop!  How are those new year’s resolutions going for you?  Put those “get in shape” resolutions into full gear with a special Bar-re Hop! The Handle Bar (141 Dot. Ave), South Boston’s indoor cycling studio and Simply Barre (118 West Broadway), the latest fitness addition to West Broadway, are joining forces to bring exercise enthusiasts a one-of-a-kind workout experience. On Sunday, January 25, The Handle Bar and Simply Barre are hosting a workout double header where you can get your cardio fix in a 60-minute cycling class and then work to lengthen and tone your body in a 60-minute barre class. Class participants who sign up for the Bar-re Hop will choose which workout they do first and after the class, they will walk the .02 miles to the next studio for their second workout of the day. Cost is $35 and includes a 60-minute indoor cycling class at The Handle Bar, South Boston, 60-minute barre class at Simply Barre and complimentary tote bag.  All class participants will score 20% off retail at both studios.   • Trash & Recycling: ONE DAY LATE for remainder of week EXCEPT Boston Proper, Roxbury, South Boston, Charlestown; see schedule for full details.
  • Street Cleaning: NO Monday daytime street cleaning (except overnight cleaning between 12:01 AM and 7:00 AM on posted arterials).
  • MBTA: Operating on a Saturday Schedule, with no late night service. See www.mbta.com/events for more information.
  • Parking Meters: FREE, time limit NOT in effect. All other parking rules remain in effect.
  • Tow Lot: Reopens 7:00 AM Tuesday (kiosks open 24 hours for cash, Visa, or MasterCard payments).
