Be informed.  Get involved.  The BRA (Boston Redevelopment Authority) is hosting a recap session & dialogue about The Dorchester Avenue corridor from Andrew Square to Broadway Station on Monday, December 14th at 5:30pm at 195 Old Colony Ave – Local 7 Ironworkers Hall.  What is currently a traditional industrial area will be transformed into residential and mix-use.  The BRA will be relaying what they learned from our community about the uses and the scale of development for the future of this area.  Preserve.  Enhance. Grow.  

Casting call!  The new Italian restaurant opening on West Broadway is now hiring.  Looking for front of house and back of house positions including manager, maitre D, servers, bartenders, hosts, buses, dishwashers, prep cook, pastry cook, sous chef, line cooks and more.  Stop by Lincoln – 425 West Broadway on Wednesday, December 16th from 11am-4pm. 

Light it up! Santa Claus and his posse of merrymakers will be on hand for the West Broadway tree lighting.  Reindeer, snowmen, and gingerbread will be singing, dancing and getting the crowd fired up at the municipal lot on West Broadway.  Light refreshments will be served.  This festive event takes place on Thursday, December 17th at 5:30pm.

Oh baby!  New mom classes at Bringing Up Baby – 663 East Broadway.  Starting Sundays this January, Little Lovage Club & Bringing Up Baby are teaming up for a 6-week series of classes for first-time moms and their newest additions.  These special classes will be an opportunity to get out with your baby, share support with other new moms, and cope with challenges such as feeding, sleep, and any other topics that may come up!
