Week of September 1st


Think you know Good Will Hunting?  Well, put your knowledge to the test on Saturday, October 11th.  Teams will be scouring the streets of South Boston for clues, answers, and mystery items.  The hunt will take you through bars, restaurants, landmarks and film locations.

This week's forecast is filled with sunshine.  Get some beach time in before the season is over. After a hot day at the beach,  cool off with an ice cold beer.  The Seapoint Restaurant is offering an apres beach special.

Movie Night! Mayor Marty Walsh and the City of Boston is hosting a family movie night on Monday, August 18th at 8pm.  The featured film of the night is one of our personal favorites - Rudy.  Popcorn will be provided by AMC Lowes Movie Theatre.

Books and the beach!  The South Boston Neighborhood House is inviting you to some good old fashioned fun on the beach!  On Tuesday, August 12th from 6pm-8pm stop by Carson Beach for an night of music, dancing, refreshments and books!  All kids will get a t-shirt and a book to take home.

G'day mate!  If you love KO Catering and Pies like we do, then you'll be jumping for joy at this news.  They now deliver!  They're known for the delicious traditional Aussie meat pies, but their menu is loaded with amazing items like their caesar salad with grilled shrimp!

Any excuse to drink margaritas on a Monday! Celebrate Cinco de Mayo by drinking cocktails and chowing down on chips and guacamole.  Cinco de Mayo (May 5th for those of you who flunked Spanish) falls on a Monday this year so why not celebrate all week long!

Things You Should Know - April 28th


Eat for a cause.  60 restaurants and half-dozen food trucks will be cooking up some delicious bites at Taste of Nation Boston.  This event will benefit No Kid Hungry and will take place that Black Falcon Cruise Terminal from 7pm-9pm on Tuesday, April 29th.
