Hot in the City – Summer, the season of fun in the sun
Summer time is a time to kick -back, relax and enjoy the finer things in life. With the longer days, it’s the season to do all the things that you don’t normally get to do during the dark days of winter. Whether it’s taking a sunset walk around Castle Island with a special someone, or enjoying a cocktail on the deck of Whiskey Priest, or having friends over for a cookout in the backyard, the summer is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the longer days.
Summer is also great for vacations. New England is chock-full of fabulous vacation spots and fun day trip excursions. My husband and I are packing up the clan and heading North to New Hampshire for two weeks for our annual family trip – which is like a little piece of heaven. My brother Richie has a house down P-town and spends the weekends there. My friend Joe recently visited Canobie Lake Park for a day of roller coasters and Fried Dough
