The Beauty Bar

She’s baack! Southie native, Dyan LaRosa, is bringing beauty back to Broadway. After 10 years of making Dot & Southie residents look their best at her Dorchester location, Dyan (and a few of her talented glam squad) are making the move. The Beauty Bar will take over the location of the now closed, Spa Christine, a Southie staple for over 15 years.

The Beauty Bar hopes to open by mid-August and will offer everything from cuts and colors to fabulous facials and waxing. (Psst, she also has a few extra surprises in the works, too!) Clients can look forward to excellent service, an award-winning team, and a new & improved expanded space. The Beauty Bar will also happily accept Spa Christine gift cards, and will be offering new client specials and grand opening promotions in the coming weeks.

Dyan and her crew are making the final finishing touches on her new location, but until then Southie, keep an eye out and start prepping to get pretty.

Liz on E Spa Services

The closing of Spa Christine won’t leave Southie residents in a beauty lurch. In addition to The Beauty Bar opening soon, Elizabeth Vu, a 10-year veteran of Spa Christine, created the new Liz on E, located at 653 E Broadway.

In addition to top-notch facials and waxing, you can expect friendly service and a welcoming vibe at Liz’s new spot. She boasts a dedicated clientele and loves to get to know her customers on a personal level. In addition to occasional promotions, you can receive 50% OFF any wax service on your birthday. Drop in, say hello, and let Liz and her talented team work their magic!
