Whole Foods to open

The developer of a new six-acre project called Ink Block South End will construct 471 luxury apartments, retail and restaurant space at the home of the former Boston Herald site on Harrison Ave.  As part of this project, a 50,000 square foot supermarket, Whole Foods will open in 2014.  It will be the fifth and largest Whole Foods in the city. 

With the addition of Foodies opening soon, South Boston will finally have a choice for grocery shopping.

I can't wait!  The produce selection at Stop and Shop on Broadway is criminal!  It always looks like we were the last stop for the truck.
