Fashion Buzz: Katherine Tabinowski of The Style Tab

Good fashion travels fast! One local Boston fashionista has won the trip of a lifetime. Katherine Tabinowski of the blog,  The Style Tab, has recently won a trip to Helsinki, Finland as part of Marimekko’s #marimekkolife campaign. Lucky gal!

Katherine, 25, beat out hundreds of other entrants from around the globe as part of an Instragram sweepstakes where she shared an inspiring #marimekkolife moment. As a Women of Influence, she’ll join just 4 other lucky ladies as they spend their vacation touring Marimekko’s print factory, lunching with designers, and lots of sightseeing, of course.

Marimekko, known for their vibrant patterns and floral graphics, has some strong roots in Boston. They first came to the US by means of Harvard Square and not soon after, Jackie Oanasis Kennedy famously bought eight dresses from the Cambridge location, one of which she wore on the timeless December 1960 cover of Sports Illustrated.
