Is the weather forecast complicating your day? Social Wines is making it a little easier. They will pull together a case of wine for you and have it ready to go, so you can pull up, get your box and be on your way!  Nice!

Here’s the scoop!  Email them at [email protected] They’ll put together your case, call you for payment, and have your wines boxed-up and ready to go!

Here’s what they need to know:

1) How many bottles do you want? (15% discount on 12)
2) How many reds, whites, sparkling?
3) Any specific wines you like or don’t like? Is this for Thanksgiving dinner?
4) What’s your average budget per bottle?
5) Name, email and phone number please!

They’ll put your case together, call you for credit card info, and even run your box out to your car for you.

Here are some suggestions from our friends at Social Wines:

Serve (or hand your host) a fabulous bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau Rose and show that you’re in the know! Want multiple invitations to next Thanksgiving? Show up with a bottle of Eugenio Rosi’s Cabernet Franc and we just might follow you to dinner.

If beer is your preference, we suggest Idle Hands’ Rosemary For Remembrance, a delicious Belgian field beer brewed with sweet potato and rosemary. For other local options, try Mayflower Thanksgiving Ale or Mystic Three Canes.

Another great option for the modern Thanksgiving table: cider! Think you’ve tried ciders? We have 43 varieties from 28 different cider producers that range from local to English to Basque.

Pre-Dinner Cocktails
John is always in the kitchen and Chris gets to play bartender! This year we’re keeping it simple so that we can both socialize and not be trapped in the kitchen. We’ll warm up some Apple Cider with cinnamon sticks and a few hard butterscotch candies thrown in, then serve with a heavy splash of bourbon in a small cocktail glass. Remember it’s about moderation; you’ve got a night of wine and beer ahead of you!

After Dinner
We love to sip a glass of Apreval Calvados with our apple pie or some Grand Ten Medford Rum with pumpkin pie. For something a little different, try an Apple Ice Wine from Medford, MA.

Grab-And-Go
For those in a rush we have our Grab-And-Go’s: Pre-wrapped gifts for the host/hostess or a mix-pack to pair throughout the Thanksgiving meal. Pick one out, pay and you’re on your way to start your festivities!
