A ring-a-ding Ming

Ming Tsai adding flavor to Southie

Caught in Southie reported about a month back that a local celebrity chef had recently purchased the vacant restaurant at the corner of A and Melcher Streets.  The identity has been revealed and Ming Tsai is that celebrity chef.  According to the Boston Herald, Ming Tsang is in the planning stages of opening up a 70-seat restaurant  at 324 A Street.

Blue Ginger owner and host of the PBS cooking show "Simply Ming" , Ming Tsai is an award winning chef and is excited about being a part of the vibrant and ever-changing Fort Point neighborhood of South Boston.

Also being reported by the Boston Herald, a new 45-set wine bar, Internal Matter, a new bar/restaurant that will be serving comfort food, at 35 Channel Center.

Two more reasons why South Boston is the coolest place to live.

A community meeting will be held tonight - Monday, July 23rd, at 6pm at the proposed establishment at the corner of A and Melcher Street.

Excited for more great options so close by. Any news on what is happening with the Old Cox Building at corner of L and Boadway? Hear rumors about a possible restaurant there, but just rumors.
