Did somebody say, “Foood fight!”?  For a good cause, of course! Stop by Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant (425 West Broadway) on October 20th to experience a delicious (and non-messy)Mexican battle to end childhood hunger.

Loco’s Executive Chef Matt Drummond is going head-to-head with The Painted Burro’s Executive Chef Joe Cassinelli in the first round of the Taste of the Nation’s Neighborhood Food Fight. These exciting events pin Boston’s top chefs against one another, all to benefit the Share Our Strength: No Kid Hungry campaign.

Tickets are $30 each and include all of the food created by both incredibly talented chefs along with two complimentary drinks.  The event is happening at 6pm – 8pm, so bring your attitude and your appetite; things are about to get interesting.

Following the competition, The Painted Burro invites guests to its Somerville location for food and drink specials and a 10:00p viewing of The Cooking Channel’s Taco Trip featuring The Painted Burro!
