Southie is the new Paris.   South Boston is about to get its first macaronerie.  Miam Miam Macaronerie (pronounced mee-yahm mee-yahm is the french word for “yummy) will be opening very soon in an undisclosed South Boston location – very mysterious.   In the meantime, they will be taking orders, so you can get your fix for the decadent and colorful little cookie.

Miam Miam Macaronerie is co-owned by Jennifer L. Turner, pastry chef, chocolatier, and owner of Blue Tierra Chocolates (we miss Blue Tierra on West Broadway) and Nicole C. Raukohl.   The dynamic duo has already been taking and baking orders for delivery in the Boston, as well as pick-up in South Boston, for the past two weeks.

For now you can order boxes of a dozen or more from their website: www.miammiammac.com and by calling 617-macaron (622-2766). Or find them at their upcoming spring pop up shops in South Boston: Friday April 18th from 5:30p.m. till 8p.m. at Social Wines and on Saturday April 19th from 3p.m. till 6p.m. at the 555 Gallery. They’ll be on hand selling boxes of their macarons in time for Easter, spring, and rose season celebrations!
