Southie guy and National Hockey League referee Chris Rooney will be honored Saturday night by the Boston Bruins and the NHL before the Bruins vs. Capitals game for officiating 1000 games! Way to go! Chris Rooney is from the legendary Rooney Family – composed of 11 boys – yes, 11 boys with Chris being the youngest!
His beautiful wife Lisa and his children Cole and Logan will be in attendance at the ceremony along with Chris’ proud parents Hon and Fred.
