After a slightly controversial cancelation of last week’s South Boston forum, another debate has been scheduled for Monday, October 28th from 6pm-7pm featuring candidates for City Council District 2, Councilor Bill Linehan and Suzanne Lee. The forum will be moderated by Michael Dowling, Artistic Director of Medicine Wheel Productions, President of the South Boston Association of Non-Profits and long-time South Boston resident and it will be held at the South Boston Lithuanian Club at 368 Weast Broadway.
Refreshments will be served at 5:30 with the debate beginning promptly at 6pm. This forum is presented by Fort Point, West Broadway, Saint Vincent Lower End and Dorchester Heights Neighborhood Associations. Southie Shuttle will pick up and drop off at Barlow’s and Bee’s Knees.
Residents participating in the Mayoral debate with Professor Glaeser at 7pm will be picked up at the Lithuanian Club at 6:50 pm. Visit fortpointneighborhood.org on Monday for the complete schedule.
