In the ever changing landscape of South Boston businesses, there is always something new on the horizon. Here are some new spots that will be opening soon in our neighborhood.
If you’re anything like us, you hate to wear the same dress twice in public. We realize that sounds ridiculous. Who do we think we are? Beyonce? Anyway, two beautiful sisters from Salem, MA were also sick of spending crazy money on dresses for weddings and special occasions and opened a boutique called Best Dressed in Charlestown that lets you rent designer dresses at a fraction of the retail cost! Well, guess what? They are opening up a second location in Southie! Woohoo! We hear it will be in the neighborhood of Dorchester St. and West Broadway near Pretty Reckless! No opening date announced yet – hopefully by the holiday season, amiright ladies?
Everyone wants a sexy, sculpted body, right? Well, B Tone Fitness will be opening at 416 West Broadway hopefully by December! Adding another choice in the ever expanding choices in fitness studios, B Tone combines strength, endurance, balance, flexibility and cardio on the Megaformer – like a reformer. Classes combine Pilates and circuit training. Sounds like fun!
A new dry cleaners will be opening up next to Simple Barre on West Broadway. Anton’s Cleaners hopes to open soon!
And of course, you already know but the Starbucks at L and Broadway has been approved.
We welcome these new businesses and say, “keep ’em coming!” We have a lot of vacant, boarded up and run down spaces up and down East and West Broadway and we would love to see them filled with awesome small businesses!
