We’re not really sure what’s going on here but this 311 report really piqued our curiosity. What is going on with this collection of coffee cups and why are they locked up? Is something in the cup that is valuable and needs safe-keeping? We have lots of questions.
This set-up took time and an extensive amount of twine, a trip to the hardware store for a tiny chain and a padlock.
Clearly from this report, this is not the first time the cups were spotted at Haul Road and West Fifth Street. It has happened on more than one occasion. So strange in a Blair Witch twig figure kind of way.
The City of Boston cleared away the cups and closed the case. We have a feeling they may surface again.
