To the residents of South Boston,
The great industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie once said, “As I grow older I pay less attention to what people say, I just watch what they do”. I have watched Ed Flynn for over 30 years as a dedicated father, husband, serving his country and all of us in the U.S. Navy, and as an effective leader in our community.
He doesn’t just say what he’s going to do, he just goes out and does it.
As a state senator, I worked closely with Ed on numerous community and veterans’ legislative issues and came to witness his passion for others and love of his neighborhood and fellow veterans first hand.
Ed is a fine and decent man who has gained my admiration and respect for the person he is and for the leader and fighter he will be on the Boston City Council.
He’ll work hard for all of us. I hope you will join me in voting for Ed Flynn on Tuesday, November 7th.
