at Castle Island
Not a good way to start off the new year. According to BPD news (www.BPDnews.com), a call came at 1:35pm on January 1st for a report of a person in the water near Castle Island. The Boston Fire Marine Unit retrieved the female victim who was unresponsive and then pronounced dead at the scene.
