Abutters meeting for 8 Deady Lane. The developer who purchased 37 Marine Road has proposed building a 4 story/5 bedroom home in the backyard. The meeting is Saturday, December 16th at 10am. Deady Lane is located off of K Street between Marine and Columbia roads.

Remember the single family house at 202 M Street that was proposed to be demolished and then the community banned together and stopped it?  Well, the developer has proposed another project, building a four-story building in the backyard of the single family.  Abutters and residents are encouraged to attend a meeting on Saturday, December 16th at 12noon at the 202 M.

Be informed.  Get involved.

All are encouraged to show up. So please, if you live on the West side and hate progress, show up & claim to be an abutter. Works like a charm.

Yeah, it certainly would be wonderful to turn the whole city point area into a giant condominium development and get rid of all that pesky neighborhood charm.

It certainly would considering how high the cost of living in this city is. Bring on all the supply we can build please. Single family homes are a waste of space that close to the central business district of a major US metro.

What is the added economic value of “charm” by the way? I can assure you it does not outweigh proximity.

If this proposed development is approved, I know of at least three long-time families who will be throwing in the towel.
It’s really sad. Please show support for neighbors as well as preserving open spaces. Meeting on Deady Lane is at 10:00AM Saturday. Deady Lane is located off of K Street between Marine and Columbia.
Thank you and hope to see you there.

I’m going to show support for the general public. And that means supporting higher density and the best use of space. Sorry but this is going to be an up hill battle for you and your friends.
