(Step 1. Repeat after us: Ship, ship, hooray!)

In case you haven’t heard, the complete, towering fleet of Tall Ships is headed for the city’s shorelines this weekend. And with their arrival will come thousands of tourists, street closures, and packed, sauna-like T platforms—the excitement is real! But while braving all the above to see said gigantic vessels is an absolute must (it is actually worth it), waiting in line for a waterfront bar or city-led celebration, probably isn’t (read: it’s 100% not). At least, not when you can throw a Tall Ships-themed party from the comfort of your own couch. The best part? Prep is minimal. A quick trip to the store—grocery and liquor—and a decent guest list is all that’s required. Check it out:

*THE SPREAD*
The Bar Snacks: (Gold)Fish & Chips
The Starter:
Seaweed (spinach) dip
The Entree: Baja Fried Fish Tacos from Loco
The Dessert:
Saltwater Taffy

*THE DRINKS*

The Maritime Martini
6 parts gin, 2 parts vermouth. Combine with ice, shake, strain, and garnish with anchovy-stuffed olive.
The Dark ‘n Stormy
2 ounces dark rum, 3 ounces ginger beer, ½ ounce lime juice. Combine and garnish with lime.
The Port & Starboard Shot
1 tablespoon grenadine, ½ ounce green crème de menthe. Pour into a shot glass without mixing.
Ocean Water (Non-alcoholic)
Pour filtered water into a large drink dispenser and label.
