Whether it’s been a lifelong dream or just on your bucket list, teaching yoga can be very rewarding!  On Thursday, July 31st South Boston Yoga’s summer intensive teacher training begins.  It’s three weeks (200 hours) of incredible, extensive training in all aspects of yoga.   The cost $3000 and a few spaces available.

For those who are interested in teacher training but may not have the time, SBY also offers two alternatives:

  • A shorter intensive – the first ten days of the training for $900.
  • Daily drop-ins – each morning of training, SBY opens the doors for drop-in students to the morning practice. Morning classes will be held at 10am Mondays and Thursdays, and at 9am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Drop-in rate of $15 per class applies.

Getting certified as a yoga teacher is fantastic. It helps you cultivate (or enhance) and maintain a regular practice and to share the benefits with others. Make no mistake, however. Teacher training is tough! Having gone through the process, it is both truly rewarding and intensely demanding. When going through training, it is crucial to fuel your body (and soul) properly.
