Fact: About 1 in 8 US women (just under 12%) will develop breast cancer over the course of their lives. Each year it is estimated that over 220,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will die. Join C2 Pilates (844 Summer Street) for their Pink Barre Event on Saturday, Saturday, May 3rd in South Boston. C2 will be hosting two classes at $25 each, with 100% of the proceeds going towards the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer. Classes will be held at 10:30am and 11:45am, with a reception following from 1-2 pm with a raffle drawing and clothing/health food samples from local vendors.
