Thanks to some very determined and persuasive soccer parents, The Liverpool International Academy of Massachusetts (affiliated with the Liverpool Soccer Club in the United Kingdom) is bringing a soccer clinic and travel program to South Boston this winter.

“Our kids need more off-season training and instruction to compete in soccer with the other suburban and club teams that practice year round,” explained one parent. “This winter-long clinic will keep our kids engaged and learning the multi-faceted skills of soccer,” he added.

Liverpool International Academy is running an indoor soccer clinic Friday nights at the Tynan.  5 – 7 year olds will play from 5:30 – 6:30 and 8-12 year olds will practice from 6:30 – 7:30, starting THIS Friday, Nov. 17th.   The cost is $125 per session.  You can register here!

LFC International Academy will run two clinics this winter (Nov – Dec) and (Jan – Feb) at the Tynan.  At some point after the holidays the Academy will hold tryouts for travel teams depending on numbers of interested boys and girls.

And, this program is open to all interested players, not just South Boston residents. Boston is a great fit for the club to engage with the younger players and there is strong support to grow this program in the future.

Additionally, the club will hold a 4-day clinic in South Boston this summer as well, with more information to come early next year.
