Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for all we have and for living in a community as awesome as South Boston.  Foodie’s Market and the South Boston Community Health Center Food Pantry are two amazing neighbors making our community a little bit stronger.

“Foodie’s Markets gives to our local neighborhood organizations with the belief that charitable support begins by bringing care, help and hope to those closest to us and spreads from there. Kindness starts locally and will spread globally. Donating turkeys is the way that Foodie’s gives thanks at Thanksgiving (and all year round) by giving back to our neighborhoods.”

On November 24th, The South Boston Community Health Center Food Pantry will pick up 50 turkeys and 100 reusable bags from Foodie’s Markets.  This will help make some South Boston families’ Thanksgiving dinners possible and a little bit happier.

“Foodies is a huge sponsor of the South Boston Community Health Center Food Pantry. This is their third year of donating turkeys to us. They are also donating reusable bags which is a huge savings for us. Foodies is a wonderful neighbor to South Boston Community Health Center and we are very grateful that they help so many families enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner that they may have had to go without,” said Susan La Paglia, Diriector, Administrative Services, SBCHC.
