Boston drivers are advised that the annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and other special events being held this weekend may delay traffic and will result in additional pedestrians using local streets.  The Boston Transportation Department is urging drivers, cyclists and pedestrians to proceed with caution while travelling around the city.  As always, those coming into Boston for these events are encouraged to take the MBTA.  Information on MBTA service can be found at www.mbta.com.  For a faster return trip, the MBTA advises riders to purchase a round trip rather than a one-way ticket.
