This week, a Hub Church South Boston hosted a team of 13 from Manchester, Tennessee who came on a missions trip to serve the people of South Boston.  The team helpd to beautify the Monsignor Powers Apartment complex at 120 L Street by landscaping the open area facing L St. and helped the residents celebrate the 4th of July holiday.

“We want to beautify the apartment complex for our elderly neighbors as a picture of how Jesus had beautified our hearts. We also love getting to meet more of our neighbors in a neighborhood that our church lives, works, and plays” says Hub Church pastor Charlie Dunn.

Thanks Hub Church for making our neighborhood a little more beautiful!

Hub Church is a new Christian Church in South Boston, which is a network of grace and truth communities.  The church currently gathers for a formal service every other Sunday at 555 E. 2nd St. During the week, they live as a “family on mission”, seeking to follow Jesus in everyday life.
