Get those kids signed up for summer camp!

The South Boston Summer Collaborative (SBSC), a collaboration of the Condon and Tynan Community Centers (Boston Center’s for Youth and Families Sites), South Boston Boys and Girls Club, and South Boston Neighborhood House, is planning its 2015 summer programming.

All program operations will be contingent on funding and enrollment.

Condon and Tynan programs will begin on Monday, July 6  and finish on Friday, August 21 –

7 weeks.   Programs will operate Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm and will cost $300/summer…the SB Boys and Girls Club will have extended day hours both before and after camp hours. For PreTeen Program and extended hour pricing please contact the Boys and Girls Club directly.

Programs for summer of 2016

  • Condon Community Center

Juniors (5-6 year olds – 9 a.m.-3 p.m.): $300 per summer

  • Tynan Community Center     

Fun in the Sun (7-13 year olds – 9 a.m.-3 p.m.): $300 per summer

  • Boys and Girls Club – (* Contact the Club for more information)

PreTeen bus program  – OFF SITE Program

Fun in the Sun (7-13 year olds)

Cadets (6 year olds)

Registration

Registration forms are available at all sites.  Registration will begin on May 18th at 6:30p.m.  Copies of immunization records are due upon registration.  Birth Certificates will be required for Cadets and Juniors.

Payments in full will be accepted and payments plans can also be set up at registration with a $35.00 deposit.  Checks, money orders cash and credit cards will be accepted ~

No refunds.

Financial Aid/Sliding Scale

Limited Financial Aid/Sliding Scale is available for all eligible families. Priority (up until June 24th) will be given to residents of South Boston who submit all of the required paperwork.  There are limited funds available and we recommend that you apply early. Financial Aid applications will be available at all sites on the first night of registration.

Employment Applications

Employment Applications for Senior Staff (18 years of age or older) for the positions of Director/Education Specialist, Assistant Director, Lifeguard, and Counselor are available at all sites.   Employment applications are due back by May 29th and decisions will be made in early June.

    Hello Kathy,

    I sent an email about a month or 2 ago trying to get some info on signing up my son who currently is in K1 at the condon school. I need to know what activities are offered there and how long the program runs. Thanks!
