CLK Tumbling

Forces unite with Southie’s best tumbling school.  CLK (Colleen, Lindsay and Kaitlyn) was created by three local cheerleaders, including former Character of the Month Colleen Moran (https://caughtinsouthie.com/people/characterofmonth/colleen-moran) when they noticed a disconnect between the local cheerleaders’ (Pop Warner) tumbling skills versus the tumbling skills across the nation in the sport of cheerleading.  So out of necessity, CLK Tumbling was created.

You don’t have to be a cheerleader

CLK has been designed to teach kids the fundamentals of floor tumbling most commonly associated with gymnastics. Both boys and girls ages 3 and up are invited to join a program intended to merge exercise, skill advancement, and discipline in a fun and safe environment.  Classes will take place at the Curley Recreation Center (AKA the L) on the K Street side and will begin in September!

This is fantastic. Happy to see young women doing something nice for their community and for these girls it is just a continuation of what they’ve already been doing! Get these kids off the streets and in a positive environment with great role models. Hats off to Colleen, Lindsay and Kaitlin!
