You know the old saying, "Once in a blue moon," well a blue moon happens on Friday, August 31st and does not refer to the moon's color but it's rarity.

What is a blue moon?
It's actually the second full moon of the month or the fourth full moon of a season and it occurs once every two years or so.   Not insanely rare but reason to celebrate (or worth mentioning anyway).  We say take a stroll around Castle Island hand in hand with someone special and enjoy the view.  Another suggestion?  Buy a scratch ticket - you never know!
