Sip, shop, and dine your way around Southie and take advantage of special discounts and one-night only promotions at local shops and restaurants. The Southie Shuttle will be providing transportation up and down East and West Broadway.

The Pop Warner A Squad Cheerleaders are heading to the National Championships! Fresh off the winners stand, the Pop Warner A Squad won their division at the the New England Regional Championship and now they need your help Southie. With an opportunity to compete in the National Championships in Disney World on December 13th, the girls need to raise some much needed funds.
On Friday, December 6th, at 7pm at the Seapoint Restaurant (downstairs) a special fundraiser for the Fighting Irish Cheerleaders will take place. SBCA Road Race
Lace up those sneakers and get ready to run for a great local school - South Boston Catholic Academy. On Saturday, December 7th at 10am join your friends and neighbors and run a 5K race along the South Boston beaches. Start and finish is at South Boston Catholic Academy at 866 East Broadway.
There is also fun for the kids on deck too with two youth races. At 9:15 - 100 Meter Dash for kids (9 and under) and at 9:30 a 1/2 mile run (14 and under).
If you preregister by December 5th, it's $20. Post-registration is $25. Youth preregistration is is $8 and post-registration is $10.

Mix and mingle with C2 Fitness. C2 Fitness (844 Summer Street) is getting in the holiday spirit with a special event with a health and wellness twist. On Saturday, December 7th following the regularly scheduled 10:30 Barre class, enjoy a few hours focusing on ways to counter holiday stress and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle well into 2014. This event takes place from 11:30am-1:30pm.
