Chef Nick Dixon of Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant knows how to make mom feel special and on May 14, he’s pulling out all the stops in honor of Mother’s Day 2017. Guests can indulge in Lincoln’s beloved brunch menu with signature items including Fruity Pebble Pancakes (stack of pancakes, cereal milk anglaise); Smoked Salmon Platter (house smoked salmon, whipped cream cheese, shaved red onion, tomato, cucumber, avocado, capers, sesame bagel); Egg BLT (Applewood smoked bacon, crispy lettuce, verjus marinated tomato, over easy egg, gouda, bacon aioli, crispy hash browns) or dig into special Mother’s Day menu additions featuring favorite dishes from the momma’s of the Lincoln team.
Capo – 443 West Broadway:
On Sunday, May 14, the whole family is invited to Capo for the ultimate Mother’s Day feast complete with live music from the Capo Dining Room noon – 3:00 p.m. and 5 – 8 p.m. Chef Tony Susi will serve up the full Capo menu, featuring Wood-Fired Pizzas, House Made Pastas, and a variety of other classic Italian dishes like Wood Grilled Chicken Cacciatore (peppers, onions, mushroom sugo) and seasonal specials like Wood Grilled Tuna (shaved fennel & celery salad, olive oil whipped potatoes) as guests enjoy tunes from the Beantown Swing Orchestra. In honor of mom, Chef Susi will be offering nearly a dozen brunch specials, including French Toast (blueberry jam & mascarpone), Poached Eggs Meze (hummus, quinoa tzatziki, tomato salad & flatbread) and an Open Faced Omelette (zucchini, yellow squash, leeks & goat cheese, toast).
Coppersmith – 40 West Third:
This Mother’s Day, Coppersmith invites you to celebrate the special lady, lass or love of your life with a special brunch featuring delicious omelettes, sweet potato tater tots, french toast and more. Enjoy Coppersmith’s show stopping DIY Bloody Mary Bar, which boasts an array of top shelf vodka choices paired with over 25 homemade garnishes ranging from pickled peppers, pearl onions and okra to scotch bonnet hot sauce. In addition to Bloody Marys, Coppersmith will feature their Mom-osa Bar! Guests will be provided a glass of champagne and can add different housemade purees and fun garnishes. Local 149 gives their spin on brunch with such dishes as Chicken n’ Waffles, Lobster MacMuffin and the Biltmore Burrito. Try a House Mimosa or a Sunday Disco cocktail.
