Looks like My Diner will be opening as early as next week! They recently tweeted out they are waiting on final inspections from the City of Boston. An inspection is scheduled for Monday, January 29th with the hopes of opening on Tuesday, January 30th or Wednesday, January 31st.
We have to admit we have felt the void of the closing of My Diner – legendary breakfast and lunch hot spot on A Street in Southie. How many hangovers have we suffered without one of their delicious bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches! According to post on their Facebook page, they hope to be open the first week in January at the Distillery at 455 East First Street!
We can’t wait!

Although I’m not a Southie resident, it’s good to hear that a closed diner will be re-opening.
So glad It is opening again. Always great to have another local breakfast option available.
