The other day it took me over 30 minutes to get from A Street to my house on M Street. If I were the Domino's delivery guy, the pizza would be free. Thanks to the numerous construction project happening all over East and West Second and Third Streets, it's an absolute nightmare to get around Southie. And forget about West Broadway. Thanks to the construction, it forces all traffic onto that main road and the block between F and Dorchester Streets on West Broadway is completely ridiculous. Between double parked cars (on both sides), buses not pulling over into bus stops, crazy pedestrians darting in and out of traffic, and lunatics trying to bang U-ies, it's a complete shit show.
My question is, when will all this contraction be over? And why does it all have to happen at the same exact time?
That's my Southie gripe of the week. Until next week, drive safely and pack a lunch.
