How does tacos, beer, and live music under 93 sound?  Well, Loco is hosting an outdoor event on Saturday, October 21 from 12pm-8pm.  Head to the OKTACOFEST at Inkblock Underground(90 Traveler Street) and enjoy tacos, chips & guac, beer trucks, live music and more!

Raise your glass to the Ellie Fund! As part of Southie Turns Pink for the Ellie Fund’s Do Good campaignCapoLincolnLocoRoza Lyons MJ O’Connor’s Waterfront and The Punk & Poet are all offering specialty cocktails like the BAE-Watch, The Ta-Ta-Tasty, The Pink Poet and more! Not only are they delicious, but it’s for an amazing local organization – the Ellie Fund! The Ellie Fund is a local non-profit dedicated to providing critical services including nutritional and grocery assistance, transportation to medical appointments, childcare, housekeeping and prepared/deliver meals to breast cancer patients and their families.

Indulge:
Just like nachos, donuts make everything better!  On Saturday, October 21st Basic Batch Donut Pop Up starts at 10am at Bar Mezzana at Ink Block.  Get there early, they sell out quick!

Participate:
Calling all fans of fashion! South Boston Catholic Academy’s auditorium will be transformed into Southie’s hottest runway on Sunday, October 22nd Featuring local South Boston boutiques, models will strut their stuff and showcase some of falls biggest trends. Your hosts for this event will be Caught in Southie/Caught Up Podcast’s own Maureen Dahill and Heather Foley Also on deck? A pop-up shop featuring clothing and accessories, Cash Bar and light bites from The Punk & Poet! Tickets are $25 and tables of 10 can be reserved!  Visit here for tickets!

See:
Come Sail Away!  For the first time in three years, The USS Constitution is setting sail to celebrate the 242nd Navy’s birthday and the 220th anniversary of the Constitution’s first launch.The world’s oldest commissioned warship will set sail from Charlestown Navy Yard on October 20th at 10am. and travel to Castle Island, for a good old fashioned 21-gun salute by 11:30am! There will also be a 17-gun salute will be fired when “Old Ironsides” passes the U.S. Coast Guard station which is the former site of the shipyard where the Constitution was built and launched in way back in 1797.

Do:
Celebrate Fall in Fort Point at the 13th Annual Pumpkin Pagaent!  It’s time to do your Fort Point civic duty and vote for the fiercest, funniest and most original jack-o-lanterns carved by your Fort Point business neighbors. Enjoy pumpkin bowling hosted by Kings Seaport, pumpkin painting, press-you-own apple cider, and more at the Pumpkin Pageant!  All this pumpkin fun happens on Thursday, October 19th from 12pm-3pm at the Harborwalk at Boston Children’s Museum – 308 Congress Street.  Later on, toast the pumpkin carvers while supporting Friends of Fort Point Sip on specialty cocktails, enjoy lite bites and live country music at the Fort Point Fall Fling!
