Weekend Picks – June 10th

Eat:
Loco lovers rejoice!  Beginning Friday, June 10th, Loco Taqueria and Oyster Bar will open for lunch for summer Fridays!  Whoop!  Whoop!  Doors open at 11:30 and you can enjoy all the deliciousness of their menu including tacos, guacamole and more!  Who are we to judge if you order a margarita or two?  After all it’s Friday, right?

Drink:
Raise your can of America to the Lawn on D!  They’re hosting a Copa America viewing party on Saturday, June 11th beginning at 3pm. Enjoy watching the USA vs. Paraguay match on a 20Ft LED screen, live salsa and samba dancers and Revolution and Boston Breaker Soccer players!  Oh yeah, and of course plenty of Budweiser beer!  USA!  USA!

Rock and Flow:
Enjoy yoga – classic rock style with PopUpAsana at Coppersmith! This is a one hour all levels yoga class that will be set to a playlist that will rock your morning and get your lazy bones out of bed. Please bring a yoga mat and be prepared to ROCK OUT!  After enjoy drinks and brunch!  The Drinks: Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar (1 drink will be included in your ticket purchase) The Brunch:(for brunch ticket only) Southern Style Biscuits and Gravy with fennel sausage, Coppersmith Egg Sandwich, Omelette of the day. Watch:
In celebration of Prince’s life, Fort Point Stage  presents an outdoor screening of Purple Rain on Friday, June 10th at 8:30pm at A Street Park near One Channel Center in Fort Point.  Rain date is Sunday, June 12th – same time and same location!

Date Night:
Speaking of free movies!  Here’s our date night pick!  Enjoy a Movie by Moonlight at the Boston Harbor Hotel at Rowes Wharf and enjoy a classic crowd-pleaser at their outdoor theater.  This Friday’s movie is Dirty Dancing!  The movie begins at sunset and is free and open to the public.  We suggest making a reservation at the Sea Grille on their outdoor terrace and have some drinks!
