Lobster, shrimp and oysters, oh my!  Celebrate 100 years of the Boston Fish Pier at the Boston Seafood Festival on Sunday, July 27th from 11am-6pm.  This family friendly event begins at 11am and goes for 7 delicious hours until 6pm.  There will be food vendors, kids activities, chef demonstrations, an oyster shucking contest and more.  For more information you can follow them on twitter @bostonseafest and on Facebook at /bostonseafoodfestival.

Raise your glass – it’s happy hour!  Radiant Yoga (516 East Third Street) is hosting a Happy Hour Yoga in the Park – M Street Park.  This event happens every Friday through August 29th from 6pm-7pm taught by instructor Sara Packard.  This power hour of yoga will be followed by a free juice tasting. Ferry, music and an island! Berklee College of Music, Boston Harbor Island Alliance, and the Boston Harbor National Park have joined forces for the fourth year to bring free live music to Georges Island.  On Saturday, July 26th enjoy the music of Miriam Elhajli,  Tim Reynolds Band and Zoya!  The fun kicks of at 1pm.  So hop on a ferry and enjoy an afternoon of music and fun in the sun. While your there, make sure to ask about the Legend of the Lady in Black!

Ride:
Whether you’re a hardcore bike rider or just a casual cruiser, Southie Cycles – a new riding club –  might just be for you!   Started by Southie residents and bike enthusiasts Steve and Laura Bowden,  Southie Cycles is a free riding club for bicycle riders of all levels. The idea is to ride with the group or lead a ride yourself.  All rides originate at MyBike at 391 W. Broadway. Go to www.southiecycles.com to check out the next ride, or add a ride to the schedule yourself!  Sounds like fun and healthy way to meet your Southie neighbors!

Audition:
Lights, camera, action! Not sure if you heard or not, but “Ted 2” is in the works and they are looking for extras from the Boston area.  Boston Casting is currently seeking background talent for the feature film “Ted 2” starring Seth MacFarlane, Mark Wahlberg, and Amanda Seyfried. Both union and nonunion talent is welcome to attend the July 26th open call for “Ted 2,” the followup to the 2012 comedy.  You must be 18 plus and make sure to bring a head shot or a recent photo.   They are also looking for people who have fantastic superhero costumes too.  The casting will take place from 10am-3pm at Boston Casting at 129 Braintree Street, Suite 107, Boston MA 02134.  Let us know if you go!

Free:
Walhburgers on Wheels will be giving out free burgers and tater tots on Saturday, July 26th  from 11am to 7pm at Faneuil Hall.  Who knows – maybe Marky Mark will be giving them out!
