Friday Night Flights! Each Friday evening, GrandTen Distilling (383 Dorchester Ave.) will open the distillery doors to those interested in a more in-depth understanding of handcrafted spirits. Offering a detailed tour, followed by a relaxed tasting of our full line of products (along with special, limited-run spirits not available anywhere else), you’ll keep a tasting glass as a souvenir. These tastings will include discussions on mixology, the history of Boston spirits, and the spirit world more generally. Get your motor running at the 2016 New England Auto Show.  It’s the biggest Auto Show in New England and it’s located at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.  Showcasing the newest models of the year  – cars, vans, crossovers, hybrids, light trucks and sport utilities, the New England Auto Show will have factory and dealer representatives from the car lines on hand to answer your questions in a no pressure environment. It’s the perfect event to  compare prices and features and see what’s under the hood.  Whether you are in the market for a new car or your doing research for when you hit the Powerball next time, the New England Auto Show is a fun event. Tryout:
Casting Call! Has anyone ever told you look like Bell, Biv or DeVoe?  How about Bobby Brown?  Boston Casting is hosting an open casting call for New Edition look-a-likes for BET.  If you look like Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Ronnie DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant, Michael Bivins or Johnny Gill, then head to Boston Casting – 129 Braintree Street, Suite 107 in Allston on Saturday, January 16th.  10am-1pm – 10-17 years old.  2pm-5pm 18-25 years old.
Be prepared to do a one minute monologue, sing a New Edition Song – we recommend the classic “Candy Girl,” or show off your sweet dance moves.  Make sure to bring a current photo with you too.  

Brunch:
Lincoln (425 West Broadway) is open for Brunch on Monday, January 19th beginning at 11am in celebration of MLK Day.  Enjoy breakfast pizza, Eggs Benedict, burgers and more.  Wash it down with a Bloody Mary or a Bucket of Bubbles.  Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar (412 West Broadway) is also getting in on the MLK Day Brunch action too!  In addition to their brunch menu, they are offering $1 oysters from open to close!  Doors open at 10am.
