Lace up your bowling shoes and help support Team Southie – a group of ambitious, teenage entrepreneurs at the Dog Bowl!  On Sunday, February 14th from 1pm-4pm, head to South Boston Bowl for an afternoon of bowling and raising funds and awareness of the City of Boston Leash law and to increase safety in our neighborhood for dog owners, pets, seniors, and children. Suggested donation is $15.  Team Southie is made up of teens from the BCYF Tynan, Condon and Curley centers.  They’ve entered into a Youth Entrepreneur Venture with the United Way.  They’ve been awarded $1000 to begin their mission but they need your help, Southie!  Their goal is to enhance “Southie” pride among neighbors old and new and help defray cost of our senior citizens’ dog care at local animal clinics.  How will they be doing it?  By selling really cool dog leases emblazoned with a “pawsitive” message.  Stop by and show your support!
