Feliz Navidad!  It’s the Christmas season and Loco Taqueria and Oyster Bar has some new additions to their menu including pan sheet nachos, General Tso’s tacos, and lots of tequila!  Stop by this weekend and check

Drink:
Coppersmith is celebrating the season with giving back!  Enjoy the 12 Taps of Christmas!  Enjoy 12 different festive beer taps, one each day leading up to Christmas Eve. In the spirit of giving, each beer has been paired with a local South Boston Non-Profit Organization to give back to our community! For each beer sold, Coppersmith will donate $1 of sales to it’s corresponding non-profit and then Coppersmith will MATCH every dollar donated! Shop ’til you drop! The holiday season is upon us, Southie!  Time for parties, reunions and gift giving!   South Boston boutiques have their doors wide open for you to come and shop. Here’s a list of locations in South Boston where shoppers can find merchandise to satisfy all recreational retail shopping needs.

Pop Up:
Did you miss our Southie Wine Glass Pop Up at the Beauty Bar?  Well, fear not!  We are popping up again this weekend – this time at Roza Lyons‘ brunch on Sunday!  Stop by between 12pm-2pm and we’ll be there with bells on and Southie wine glasses at the ready!  They’re perfect for everyone on your list!  Honestly, who doesn’t love wine and who doesn’t love Southie?

Celebrate:
Stop by legendary Southie artist Dan McCole’s studio for a good old fashioned Christmas celebration.  Featuring live music from Hogan’s Goat, Kathy Taylor, Bob Dunlop, Skip Toomey and other singers and players, Christmas in the Loft  will get you in the spirit!  There will be food, drink, and plenty of art to look at and maybe even pick up for a gift! Stop by Saturday, December 17th at 8pm at the Distillery (9 H Street Entrance).

See:
It’s the 243rd Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party!  On December 16, 1773, a bunch of colonists who had it up to here with England, dumped some tea into Boston Harbor and started a revolution.Help celebrate our freedom by watching re-enactors make history come to life. Do:
Get ready to celebrate the season at Winter Revelry this weekend! This event features a high end, adventurous blend of brands and makers catering to the design savvy gift giver. In addition to more than a dozen local and New York-based brands, Winter Revelry will feature experiences including a a wintry lounge, igloo bar, human snowball fight, reptile show and more. The market will be taking place from Thursday, December 15 through Saturday, December 17 at the Innovation and Design Building – 25 Drydock Ave!  Hours are Thursday and Friday 11am-7pm and Saturday from 11am-6pm.  For schedule of special happenings visit here!

Flow:
Rock and snow!  It’s Radiant Yoga’s Epic Holiday Yoga Party featuring their rock and flow class with live holiday music from 6pm-7:15pm.  The party starts at 7:30 with cookies and chai!  Radiant will also be offering discounts too!  You can register here! 

Booze-a-palooza:
Grand Ten Distilling is hosting it’s first ever Holiday Bazaar featuring cocktails, food and lots of fun!  Stop by on Sunday, December 18th from 4pm-8pm and pick up some South Boston Irish Whiskey for a gift!

Watch:
Get ready for the Jingle Brawl!  On Saturday, December 17th head to Peter Welch’s Gym for some good bouts for a great cause!  Fighters from PWG Fighters Technique program will be match up for bouts!  This night will feature food, drinks, holiday cheer and of course, boxing!  Bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots!  Doors open at 6pm.  Bouts begin at 6:30pm

Mix&Mingle:
Come mix and mingle and help support a great Southie school on Thursday, December 15th from 6pm-8pm at the Playwright.  $20 at the door include appetizers, one drink ticket and a pop up from Wears + Wares!  Proceeds goes to the Condon School! Stop by!
