Eat:
Have you tried The Maiden for brunch yet?  Feast on such deliciousness as Sausage Gravey & Biscuits with fried egg, home fries, Eggs in Purgatory with two eggs cooked in spicy tomato sauce, potatoes, toast,  or their amazing burger!   Wash t down with a Mimosa, Bloody Mary or Brunch Punch!

Drink:
Lot of opportunities to raise your glass this weekend!  It’s time to unwind and travel the world of wine all under one roof! Wine Riot, the most innovative wine event in the country, returns to Boston for two days, Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22. Sample hundreds of wines from around the world coupled with interactive booths and crash courses loaded with tips and tricks for conquering the wine world!

Shop:
Spring weather means shopping for some new spring fashion!  Southie has some of the best shopping around!  We say make a day of it!  Go on a little shopping expedition in Southie!  It’s good for your closet and it helps support small local business which is good for everyone!  Here’s a quick guide! 

Watch:
It’s do or die again for the Bruins – come on, fellas beat the Senators!  They face them again Sunday at 3:30pm.  And don’t forget about playoff basketball!  The Celtics play  Sunday at 6:30pm.  The Red Sox play  Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 1:35pm all against the Baltimore Orioles.  It’s a sports lover’s dream!  Here are 9 Places to watch in Southie!

Get those dancing shoes ready!  Lots of great listening entertainment this weekend in Southie. On Saturday, legendary Southie DJ Dru Errico will be spinning all of your favorite disco classics at the Seapoint.

Do:
Mark your calendars!  Let’s get this neighborhood cleaned up!  It’s the City of Boston’s Annual Spring Cleaning on Friday, May 12th and Saturday May 13th.  Organize a group and join in the fun!  Post clean up is a party at Capo with raffles, food, and fun!  Register here! 

Detox:
Speaking of spring cleaning, how about a little spring cleaning for your body!  C2 is hosting a Spring Detox Workshop with Kristin Khederian on Saturday, April 29th from 12pm-1pm for $25 ($20 for members).  Gain balance and a little inner peace through some twisting powers, breathing work, journaling and even a little mindfulness practice!  We promise you’ll leave feeing refreshed and energized for spring!  Register here! 

Pray:
The long awaited Our Lady of Good Voyage Chapel will open its doors at its new home n to the public on Sunday, April 23rd.   The first ceremonial Mass will take place at 11:30am.  To learn more visit here!

Support:
Support the South Boston Public Library this weekend at their “Friends of the Library” book sale on Saturday, April 22nd from 10 AM to 3PM.  Hard covered books, paperbacks, DVD’s, plus a large collection of presidential books will be on sale!   Free coffee for all customers!
