Tis’ the season to don a Halloween costume and run a 5K!   The first annual Boston Common Costume Dash 5k is coming to downtown Boston on Saturday, October 31st.  The race will offer 3,000 runners a rare opportunity to run through the heart of Boston while fully decked-out in your favorite costumes.  After your done with your run, head out and whoop it up a the after parties at  at Beantown Pub (100 Tremont Street), The Pour House (907 Boylston Street), The Rattlesnake (384 Boylston Street), and Barracuda Tavern (15 Bosworth Street) starting at 10:00 a.m. for runners 21+.  So what are you going as?  Sexy witch or Donald Trump? 

Details:
The race will start at 9:00 a.m. in Copley Square and finish in Boston Common, where prizes will be awarded for best costumes and top finishers at an awards ceremony presented by Harpoon Brewery.   Runners can register online at CostumeDash.com through October 28th.  Registration is $50 for runners of all ages, and will help to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay. So come out, support a great cause, and kick off your Halloween celebration in style!
