It's back!  Head to Amrhein's (80 West Broadway) for their famous Pumpkin Risotto.  It's back in all its rich and deliciousness and we guaranteed you'll feel instantly comforted with the first bite.  (Bonus: it's served in a real hollowed out pumpkin!)

The Lawn on D just keeps continuing to surprise and delight!  First it was the lawn games, food trucks and an outdoor bar.  Then tailgating for the Pat's game!  Add LED light up swings and we thought The Lawn on D couldn't get any more fun!

It's a long weekend this weekend and there's plenty to do in Southie.  On Monday, banks, libraries, schools, and the post office will be closed.  The T is running on a Saturday schedule.  Liquor stores are open.  (Phew!)

A little birdie told us Spotlight - a movie from writer/director Thomas McCarthy is shooting in Boston this week and will be in Southie on October 1st and 2nd filming scenes.

Spotlight tells the story of the Boston Globe investigative team that exposed the Catholic Church sex abuse scandal.
