Miam!  Miam! South Boston is about to get its first macaronerie.  Miam Miam Macaronerie (pronounced mee-yahm mee-yahm and is the french word for "yummy) will be opening its first retail shop at 359 West Broadway - sharing space with The Juice Box.

"Live by Night" filming here soon.  

Well, looky, looky.  Looks like Ben Affleck is coming back to Southie to film "Live by Night,"  a crime drama based on the book of the same name by Dorchester native Dennis Lehane.  Affleck is both directing and starring in the film.

Calling all future Picassos and Van Goghs, the Young at Arts painting classes will begin on Monday, November 2nd from 4:30-5:30pm.  All classes are free and include painting materials.  The budding artists will be working with acrylics on canvas boards.
